Fork Lift Truck: 1-3 Day Operator Conversion Course

A Course specifically designed to help experienced operators to be familiarised and tested on additional categories of forklift equipment.

Course Contents

Introduction

Course Objectives. Health & Safety at Work - the employees responsibility in the work place.

Safety Rules

Stability, load handling and safety. Operator Safety Code.

•

Practical Work

Pre-shift check by Instructor highlighting preventative maintenance - Battery Care, Charging, fluid levels, engine oils etc where

appropriate. Instruction in proper use of controls.

Safe Driving Instruction

A supervised period of instruction and/or corrective tuition.

•

Safe Driving Assessment

A supervised practical assessment.

•

Multiple Choice Questionnaire

Theoretical questionnaire to test Delegates knowledge of safety aspects.

•

Practical Test

A Certificate is award upon successful completion of the test.

Location

Training will be undertaken on your own site. We would require the use of a small room for theoretical work and a fork lift truck of the type to

be used for training. Our instructor has all other necessary equipment.
